After reading some great reviews, decided to try Jewel of the North for dinner tonight ordered via DoorDash. The burger was very tasty, it's definitely not that same boring burger patty you seem to get at nearly every place in town. Fries were good too and I'd imagine they'd be way better hot and fresh, not as takeout and a 10-15 minute drive away. The fry sauce was good, more bbq than mayo based, which is a nice change of pace. The tartar sauce was delicious and fresh tasting. The mac and cheese was pretty good, but the steak added on top was my favourite out of everything ordered. It was supposed to be cooked medium and it was well past that, but so delicious that I have zero complaints! I can't quite put my finger on the flavour of the marinade, but I'd love to know if you're willing to give me a hint! I am sure I will order JotN again for delivery, but I think an in-person visit is definitely in my future!

JOTN is located in a charming area in Browne's Addition. I absolutely love the charm of an old Victorian house and JOTN is a little gem. I had recently seen a post about it on Instagram, so when my friend invited me to go I was thrilled. There is outdoor seating on the patio and porch, and additional seating inside. They even have a small bar area upstairs, which is where we sat. There were two gentlemen working when we came in and they both provided excellent service. We ordered a watermelon margarita, a grapefruit negroni, and a gin daisy. All three were really good. I highly recommend the watermelon margarita. It was a fav for all three of us. We ordered the catfish sliders, JOTN chicken sandwich, and the Chicken Shawarma. All three dishes were packed full of flavor. I am not a fan of fish, but tried a small bite of the catfish and was pleasantly surprised. It didn't taste "fishy" and the blackened seasoning was on point. The fries were some of the best fries I've had and the fry sauce complimented them very well. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. I am really looking forward to going back in the near future. Whether you are visiting or are local, JOTN is a must!

I’ve been here a few times for lunch and dinner and always have a great experience. I think they are getting the hang of things now that they have had time to find their groove and each time we go it’s better than the last! The Mac n cheese is exceptional and the chicken sandwich is one of the best in town. I think my husband and I have tried almost everything on the menu and we love it all. The drinks are also delicious with the watermelon margarita being our fav. This last time I got the steak and we shared some wings and everything g was cooked to perfection! Let’s not forget the amazing patio and cozy inside seating. I can’t wait to see what they do with this place this Fall and Winter. If you’re looking for a great date night spot or a place to take Mom go here! You won’t be disappointed.

Had the pleasure of checking out the soft opening at Jewel of the North and WOW — Brooks and the crew absolutely crushed it! Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and creativity. The banana pudding was off the chain — hands down the best I’ve had in a long time. The plant-based sausage pesto primavera was surprisingly rich and satisfying, and the smoked cheese mac and cheese was next-level creamy with that perfect smoky kick. You can tell a lot of love went into every bite. Spokane just got a serious gem — can’t wait to come back when they officially open!

We had the best experience of the new restaurant in Brown’s Addition, Jewel of the North. Spokane has been needing a restaurant like this with an amazing patio, amazing food and drinks and the service is impeccable. To top it off I get to bring my little dog Ollie, who gets to choose from the dog menu and they are always keeping his water dish full. Best experience ever! I highly recommend.

Went there just looking for a snack. Didn’t think we would get service since they were just a few minutes from closing but they welcomed us as if it was the height of the day. We sat met to their fire pit and enjoyed a dessert. The place is very nice, almost romantic depending on where you sit. The service was awesome. The waiter took the time to chat with us for a while and fill us in on some of the restaurant’s background. Definitely going back since we only had dessert and didn’t explore the menu further than that.

We had lunch on the patio. It was shaded by trees and very relaxing. Their cocktail menu impressed me and I enjoyed my watermelon margarita with a black salt rim. The chicken sandwich was delicious and the fries were seasoned so well I didn’t even need ketchup. My partner enjoyed his steak, and the asparagus in particular was amazing; they marinate it before grilling. I was also impressed with the menu being vegetarian friendly, as they have Beyond Burger and vegetarian chicken that can be substituted into the dishes. Only downside was the wait time; there was one waiter for the patio, downstairs seating and the upstairs seating. He was running constantly but there just too many customers for one person to handle, so it took a while for service. He was very knowledgeable about the food and drink menus and very personable despite being so busy. Overall it was a great experience, I plan on going back for food or even just cocktails with friends.

Jewel of the North has a fun atmosphere and giant patio not to mention amazing, mouth watering food and cradt cocktails...and that banana pudding! The chicken wings are a must and my cocktail of choice is the Lychee Love Bite! Sweet & Spicy! The staff is all very friendly and personable. Definitely going to be my hang spot this summer on the patio! (Pet friendly patio + pet menu) Definitely recommend checking it out!
